
Last but not least, a sensible Mod Manager like Mod Organizer 2 should definitely be used. For a list of mods that work and don't work well with Horizon, please refer to the Modding Horizon article. Because of that you should always place Horizon, Mods and Patches in the right places of your Load Order or you will destroy your playthrough in no time (texture flickering, CTD, broken cells, unscrappable structures, lag, etc.) and you should avoid mods that try to do some sort of overhauling themselves, sometimes even if they have an unofficial patch available. It's like 50 mods in one, however, mods can still be installed but almost always require patching. It touches just about every aspect of the game: equipment, enemies, settlements, and more.
